Initiative List
We are putting together small groups to work on some of the initiatives for the Delaware NNA. We do not need to fill these roles, rather, if people are inspired and enthusiastic to help, we want our members to take the “initiative” and run with it (pun intended)!
If one of these sounds like a space you would like to help, please get in touch!
Current Initiative List:
Pollinator Gardens – Help encourage NN residents to plant more plants that help pollinators (like bees and moths) in the neighborhood Tree Canopy Support – Help encourage planting more trees, and protect existing trees in the NN Outreach and Membership Growth – Help this small, but active, group grow Banners – You see the banners hanging on the power poles around the neighborhood, they need maintenance from time to time Welcome Bags – When new residents move into the NN they get a welcome bag from us, with a nice “welcome to the community”. It’s very nice to get. Social Events – Help plan in-person events for our group Grant Writing – Always important for a non-profit NNA Leadership – Be part of the Leadership Committee that helps run the Delaware NNA NNA Funding – Help keep the NNA running by volunteering and coming up with ways to get the NNA funding -
New Website, New Era
Hi everyone, my name is Guthrie and I am the new NNA President. I hope to infuse the NNA with some fresh energy and I need your help! If you feel like volunteering in any way, please email us at nna@delawarenna.org.
Meanwhile, one of the first things I’m doing is working on a new website and tech stack. Stay tuned for more information.
